We are very proud to say that we have an experience with all kinds of vessels including bulk carriers, general cargo, tankers, and cruise ships that call in all Turkish ports, shipyards, and straits. Our company is offering a dedicated service 24/7/365. We maintain excellent liasons with authorities, stevedores, pilots, terminals, towage companies, barges and all other service providers in the port, straits and shipyard.
Our agency department arranges on behalf of the shipowner/ charterer services relevant to the ship and its cargo, such as;
- Allocating ship’s berthing place to load and/ or discharge, as well as making sure that the ship master is aware of port requirements and vice versa.
- Handling the amount of cash required (Cash to Master (CTM).
- Arranging tugboat services, barge, and the pilot.
- Coordinating with the people involved in the actual loading or discharging,
who would be stevedores (in dry bulk cargo) or the jetty management (In tanker shipping). Organising the safe and effective loading and/ or discharging of merchandise.
- Informing import/ export cargo owners.
- Reporting the custom offices and relevant authorities of the ship’s arrival and reporting the cargo on board.
- Ensuring that the ship’s documentation complies with international and local regulations, as this will be inspected by port state control, customs, classification societies and other regulatory bodies.
- Providing for information on the crew and any passengers to the department of immigration and citizenship.
- Coordinating ship repairs and maintenance.
- Undertaking the payment of ship’s expenses at the port, preparing the disbursements account (D/A) and submitting it to the principals.Planning the delivery of stores, supplies, charts, and spares to the ship. Coordinating crew changes, any associated immigration documentation such as booking travelling arrangements and moreover if it is necessary, catering for medical treatment of crew members.
